Shabbos This Week

This Shabbat, April 12, at 5:30 PM (not the previously announced time of 5 PM), Ellen LeVee will be giving her final class for the year reviewing the Haggadah.

Chometz Sale

Rabbi Prero plans to be available to facilitate the sale of chametz this
Sunday morning, April 13, 9:00-9:30 AM. Although it'd be best to come then, anyone who can't make it should e-mail the rabbi
eprero@prerolaw.com) to make an alternate appointment.

Rabbi Prero requests that all who intend to designate him as their agent
read the attached chametz disclosure form before sitting with him to formalize said designation.

Chesed Opportunity

Robert Herzfeld needs volunteers to help at the s'firah chart stuffing party, which is scheduled to take place at his house, 2729 W. Estes, inconveniently enough,  on Tuesday night, April 15. If you can be there, *be there*. If being there is inconvenient, try to be there a little anyway.

Yom HaAtma'ut Celebration

If you can't be in Israel on the Fifth of Iyar (May 10), then you should be at Young Israel on the Fifth of Iyar. Yes, we know that Yom HaAtzma'ut is celebrated on the Thursday before 5 Iyar this year, but YIWRP is planning its own celebration on the 5th.

SPONSORS ARE NEEDED FOR A CLASSY KIDDUSH!

Our shawarma chef, Keren Davidoff, is looking for a total of $250 to pull this off in good taste. If we can raise this amount by May 1, she has committed to putting in all the work so that we'll have a kiddush with the Kollel Torah MiTzion guys and fresh shawarma almost as good as you get at the Tachana Mercazit.

If you don't know what that is, don't fret; just make a pledge and join us for the party.

Mishna Shiur

The Mishnah shiur meets Wednesday nights from 8:45 to 9:45 at the shul. The learning is dedicated to the memory of Rose Ann Chasman.
